Access Statement

The Durrance Bed & Breakfast and Self Catering Cottages welcomes people with disabilities and has developed this Access Statement to address some of the more common issues that disabled people face.

We will endeavour to meet the requirements of all guests whatever their needs.

The Durrance is within easy reach of the M5 and M42. We are situated 5 miles from junction 5 / M5 and 7 miles from junction 1 / M42.

There is plenty of car parking to the front of the cottages and outside the Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast.

Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast

The B&B has one ground floor room which is accessible by wheelchair. However there is a small step and a slope into the porch and another small step into the downstairs room. The bedroom is very spacious with two single beds and the bathroom has a bath with a shower over it and is en-suite to the bedroom.

Self Catering Cottage

Oxen and Cider Mill Cottages are ground floor cottages with ample parking to the front. Access to both cottages is a small step into the porch area then straight into Cider Mill Cottage. This cottage has wide doorways to take a wheelchair. The The bathroom has a bath with a shower over it. The bedrooms are a double which can be made into two single beds and a single bedroom.

Oxen Cottage has a step into the kitchen from the porch. The bathroom has a shower over the bath. The bedrooms are a double which can be made into two twin beds and a twin bedded room.
